Welcome to my website, and thank you for taking the time to stop by! In case we have not met face to face, instead of computer to computer, please allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Eric Weaver. I am running for the North Carolina House in the 35th District. This is because I want to make state goverment make the hard choices that we all have to make in allocating our precious resources. Whether we are dealing with water, money, or time, no resources are unlimited. North Carolina state government has assumed that these resources, particularly YOUR tax money, are unlimited. Therefore, it has put off making the hard choices as to what is REALLY important for too long, resulting in dangerously high taxes and excessive regulation that threaten to kill the goose that laid the golden egg of prosperity in our region. Read the Issues page to see what I intend to do about it!

The Weaver Family Welcomes You.

Eric, Michelle, Eric Jr., and Anna Amelia say hello! We live, work, play, and worship in District 35. We are your neighbors! We look forward to meeting you all as we talk to our friends on my listening tour.

Small Business Owners.

Eric, formerly a Durham policeman, and Michelle, formerly a youth minister, work together in their small businesses. Did you know that most new jobs in North Carolina are created by small businesses and individual entrepreneurs? They are not created by government or by tax money give-aways to large corporations.
