11/5/2008: Well, the results are in. I did not win this one. While I did not win, the residents of District 35 are the real losers in this race.
But we have survived eight and a half years of legislative neglect, so we can probably survive two more.

To my family and friends: Thanks for putting up with me for the last few months! (Yes, honey, I will get right back on that honey-do list, I promise.)
To the NC GOP: We need to roll up our sleeves and get to work!
To the citizens of District 35: Stay tuned - We will be back in 2010 to run again!
